The Oxford Group and Alcoholics Anonymous

We have inherited a tradition of gathering in groups. This tradition started with the Moravians and then was adopted by John Wesley and became known as Methodism.

Frank Buchman picked up the principles of gathering in groups from the Keswick Conference. These principles were then passed down to the founders of Alcoholics Anonymous.
