Creating a Sober World

A Context for Communication

The AA meeting is a circle of love. A “context” in which the recovering alcoholic finds his or her voice.

It all started with one man saying, “’Doc, I need you,’ If I do not talk to another drunk, I will not be able to keep from drinking.” Those who are most sober among us are the ones who are most aware of the need we have for each other: in some cases to keep from drinking (using) and always to help us keep honest with ourselves and to continue to grow in the Spirit each day and to keep us humble enough to effectively share our experience strength and hope.

So...I need you.  Not to help with my project. God is doing for me what I cannot do for my self. But I seriously need to you to listen. When you listen to me, I can tell if I am just lying to myself. Thank you.
